• This event is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U. S., Inc.
• All participants must have a current AAU membership.
• AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event.
• AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a
laptop available with an internet connect. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site
www.aausports.org to obtain their membership.

Entry Fees: Gymnasts, $47; Teams, $40, per division entered

 

Important Information:

 

Levels 2 and 3 Qualifying score is a 29 AA achieved once in a sanctioned meet prior to
the qualification/declaration/entry deadline.

 

Level 3 has two divisions (experienced and
novice). Teams may enter for one or both divisions, but a separate team fee is required
for both.
Gyms must have a minimum of three kids in a division to qualify as a team.

 

Level 3 athletes scoring 35 or higher TWICE prior to the qualification deadline, MUST
be entered into the Experienced division. An athlete may choose to compete up into the

 

Experienced division if they prefer, but no gymnast is allowed to compete down into the
Novice division if they have exceeded score requirements.

 

Gyms that do not list a division for Level 3 on their entry forms will automatically be
placed in the Experienced Division.

 

Failure to enter your athlete into the appropriate division at the State Meet may void that
athlete’s team from participating in the Team Awards for that level during the State
Championships.

 

Late Fees- $25, with $100 max per level-NO EXCEPTIONS. This is an AAU board rule
and not to be waived by host gym.

 

Awards: Team awards will be a plaque with a placeholder for a team photos. Teams
receiving these awards will be responsible for providing their own team photo as due to
the nature of the meet, it is possible that all team members may not be present for photo.

Refunds: Children that do NOT qualify for the state meet will receive a refund if
requested by Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Refunds must be requested in a
written format either by e-mail, postage, or fax

 

Other information:

 

• This is a very large meet. Gyms may need two coaches if warm-up and
competition times are overlapped or if gymnasts are competing in blue & red
competitions at the same time.
• Gyms should check and report accuracy of t-shirt order before leaving the
competition site. No re-orders will be made.
• Coaches should verify age groups and divisions are correct prior to the
competition to avoid any possible penalties.
• Touch is not required for AAU levels 2 and 3 at State Competition

6.   Take the BASS RD exit, EXIT 172.  0.3 mi
7.   Turn LEFT onto BASS RD.  3.8 mi
8.   BASS RD becomes FOSTER RD.  0.6 mi  
9.   Turn RIGHT onto CALVIN DR.  0.2 mi
